Today, I started Dr. Oz's 28 day caffeine detox challenge. I know that I am
a little very addicted to caffeine. So much so that I have major withdrawal symptoms when I don't drink my Dr. Peppers! With all 3 of my pregnancies I was able to give up Dr. Pepper cold turkey because it actually made me sick while I was pregnant. I didn't want to start drinking them so much again after the babies were born and I would try to have just one, but it never worked. I realize that I am going to have to give them up completely and for good.
I have too many withdrawal symptoms to go cold turkey now so I am doing the 28 day challenge. So far, today I have only had one and I didn't even have it until 10am! It's 3pm right now and normally I would have had
four, or five, or six. Awful, I know.
So I will report here how it goes and to help keep myself accountable and motivated.
