Simple Pleasures

I'm taking this post idea from here.

My simple pleasures:

This isn't hard at all when these three are the first that come to mind:

Paper. I love, Love, LOVE paper. Note cards, note pads, spiral books, anything. It's a small obsession.

Lazy, rainy days.

Beautiful, warm, play outside days.

Naps. (Mine or the kids!)

Bubble baths.

Sundays with my family.

Receiving mail : letters, cards, magazines..anything except for bills!

Writing.

Reading.

The smell of new books.

Phone calls.

Clean sheets.

A clean house (this is a rare pleasure - ha!)

Pictures.

Photo albums.

Pedicures.

Fresh flowers.

New recipes that turn out good.

These are just a *few* that come to mind!

Christmas Traditions.

We don't really have any Christmas traditions.

We eat at Mark's parents' house on Christmas Eve.

We are always home with the kids on Christmas morning.

My mom and dad usually come over Christmas Day for lunch.

And we always make sure we get a picture of the family in front of a Christmas tree.

2004 - Our first Christmas as husband and wife. I do have a picture but that was before I went digital so it is not saved and I can not get the scanner to work!

2005 - Sean's 1st Christmas

2006 - Sean 1 year old

2007 - Sean 2 years old, Nathan 2 months old

2007 - Sean 3 years old, Nathan 1 year old

2008 - Sean 4 years old, Nathan 2 years old, Lauren in my tummy

What are your Christmas traditions?

Hmmm...Just realized that none of these pictures are even at my house in front of my tree! Ha! Guess because I didn't have anyone here to take the pictures! I'll have to change that this year!
