Ba-Ba-Bananas

B-A-N-A-N-A-S

I sat around in my PJs all day today.

Until at 4:30pm I realized that I had NO groceries. NO formula. NO baby wipes. NO baby food for Lauren. NO deodorant. NO dinner.

Quick shower (I used Mark's deodorant after:)) and Nathan and I headed off to Wal-Mart.

We grabbed {hopefully} what is a sensible amount of food to make some sensible meals that will last our family for a week and came home.

Hot It's Not Delivery, It's DiGiorno's pizza in the oven.

Went to grab Lauren's food....and remembered there's none to grab.

She was hungry and there was no time to steam and puree and cool some food for her.

So, I grabbed a banana, smashed it, put it in the food processor, and Voila!

Lauren had her first taste of BANANAS!

I LOVE making her baby food!

I love the smell! So fresh and pure!

I love the taste! So organic and good!

We're not an all organic family and I'm not against buying baby food in jars at all!

Both my boys had jar baby food.

I just wanted to try my hand at it home made.

And since she's my LAST baby,

I thought now was as good a time as ever!

And she loves it!

{What do you mean this is the last bite?!!}

And I LOVE her satisfied little tummy!

  1. I love making baby food! It's so easy, just blend it all up then store it in ice cube trays in the freezer. Love it. I just introduced bananas and avocados to my 6 month old. We got a very apparent yay on the bananas and nay on the avocados ;-)
