Guest Post - Part 1

Brandy has flattered me with an invitation to be a guest “blogger” on Three is Not A Crowd, and I have graciously obliged. So, brace yourself for the riveting tale of how my family picked up everything and moved from San Antonio, TX to Seattle, WA.

When I was young, I always knew that I wanted to leave Texas, blasphemy, I know, but I just couldn’t help myself. Making a snow angel was just so much more important than being a Texan all of my life.

My husband, Steve, and I have been married almost 8 years. Steve is a software developer, and I am working on my master’s degree. Our first baby is Dixie, an almost 9-year-old, epileptic, emotionally unstable Jack Russell Terrier. Then, there is Ryan, our assertive, stubborn, and amazingly loving 4-year-old. Finally, there is little Reid monster, our beautiful 11-month-old boy, with a serious mommy complex.

To say the least, we are absolutely crazy for picking up and moving 2500 miles away from our friends and family, but we are even crazier for how we did it.
